CtrlS to set up 20L sft Datacenter Park in Hyd

Hyderabad: City-based datacenter and managed service provider CtrlS Datacenters Ltd on Monday announced its plan of setting up a 2 million (20 lakh) sft hyperscale datacenter park in the city along with 20 lakh sft DC Park in Navi Mumbai and a 10 lakh sft DC campus in Chennai.
The company said it is looking to triple its number of datacenters from eight to about 25 by 2024-25. CtrlS is in the process of expanding its footprint by an additional five million sft from the current 1.2 million sft space. The three upcoming projects will cumulatively add over 600 MW capacity to CtrlS' portfolio of assets, the company added.
"Altogether, we will add over 600 MW IT load capacity in these locations and five million sft additional space. We are fully geared up to emerge as the world's largest rated-four datacenter player," Chairman of CtrlS Datacenters Ltd Sridhar Pinnapureddy said.
"In addition to these large DC Parks, CtrlS Datacenters is also setting up a hyperscale datacenter
facility in Kolkata, which is a key gateway to Northeast," he added.
